Dr Wong graduated as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of New South Wales in 2012. In the following three years she was a Resident Medical Officer and Basic Physician Trainee at Westmead Hospital. In 2016, she was appointed Senior Resident Medical Officer in Paediatrics at Mt Druitt and Blacktown Hospital. In 2017 she worked as a Paediatric registrar at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospital. For the second part of 2017, she completed her first term of specialist training as a GP in Temora, a small country town in NSW.
In 2013 Dr Wong was co-author of a paper published in the International Osteoporosis Journal (“Diamond, T., Wong, Y. & Golombick, T. Effect of oral cholecalciferol 2,000 versus 5,000 IU on serum vitamin D, PTH, bone and muscle strength in patients with vitamin D deficiency”).
Dr Wong has completed the Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP). She has strong interests in the fields of geriatric medicine and paediatrics.
