BEcon/BSc MBBS DCH FRACGP
Brought up on a farm near Toowoomba, Nick first did a degree in science and economics but he knew his real vocation was medicine. He graduated from The University of Queensland in 2007 and has practiced as a doctor in Canberra over the last 8 years. He has post graduate qualifications in Child and Adolescent Health and in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. Dr Hamilton’s interest in skin cancer treatment began when he started working for a commercial dermato-pathology laboratory in Brisbane in 2003. He has completed further training on skin cancer and has received a diploma through the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine in 2012 and a certificate in dermoscopy through the Skin Cancer College of Australasia in 2013.
He is the practice’s Clinical Director and is the primary supervisor for the practice’s GP registrars.
In his spare time, he enjoys trying to keep up with his 2 young children exploring the parks and playgrounds of Canberra and has just welcomed a new puppy to the family.
