Kathleen was born in Canberra and initially trained in statistics and worked at the Bureau of Statistics and the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. She then decided that her real vocation lay in medicine. She graduated from the ANU Medical School in 2013 and then worked as an intern at Canberra Hospital. She has special interests in child health and preventative health.
Despite my start in statistics, I’ve always been interested in medicine. General practice is interesting and challenging. I like the breadth of people we see and why they come to see us. and I like getting to know the people who are our patients.
I love children and enjoy being part of a team which supports families to give their kids the best start in life.
