Dr Iranthi De Silva

Dr Iranthi De Silva is an experienced General Practitioner with over 24 years of clinical experience, having worked in Australia, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, and China. She graduated from the Fudan University School of Medicine in Shanghai, China, and moved to Australia in 2018. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2021.

Dr De Silva has a strong interest in women’s health and enjoys supporting patients through all stages of life. Her areas of care include contraception (she is an accredited provider for Mirena™, Copper and Kyleena™ IUDs, as well as Implanon™ insertion and removal), pregnancy care, menopause, PCOS, menstrual issues and endometriosis. She also provides ongoing care for chronic health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid conditions, and mental health concerns. (Please note: she does not perform skin checks or skin cancer procedures.)

Originally from Sri Lanka, Dr De Silva speaks English, Mandarin, and Sinhala, and has a basic understanding of Tamil, allowing her to care for patients from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of work, Dr De Silva enjoys baking, gardening, and sewing.

Dr Iranthi De Silva（西医生） 是一位经验丰富的全科医生，拥有 24 年以上的临床经验，曾在澳大利亚、塞舌尔、斯里兰卡和中国工作。她毕业于中国上海复旦大学医学院， 2018 年移居澳大利亚，2021 年获得澳大利亚皇家全科医师学院院士资格（FRACGP）。

西医生专业擅长妇科，致力于在女性人生的各个阶段提供支持与关怀。她的诊疗范围包括避孕（Mirena™、Copper 及 Kyleena™ 宫内节育器的认证放置，以及 Implanon™ 的植入与取出）、孕期护理、更年期管理、多囊卵巢综合征（PCOS）和子宫内膜异位症。她同时也为患有慢性疾病的患者提供持续管理，例如糖尿病、高血压、甲状腺疾病及心理健康问题。（请注意：她不提供皮肤检查或皮肤癌相关手术。）

西医生原籍斯里兰卡，能流利使用英语、普通话和僧伽罗语交流，并具备基础泰米尔语能力，能够为不同文化背景的患者提供贴心的医疗服务。
